Ocado is stuggling to cope with demand from Coronavirus!

I would guess this has nothing to do with the site struggling and more to do with Ocado’s fulfilmant struggling.

Coronavirus has really shown up Ocado’s weakness, which is it’s use of warehouses that can’t hold any where near as much stock as hundreds of stores all acting like mini warehouses. Usually Ocado’s use of warehouses is seen as a big strength as they know exactly how much stock they have and can forecast much more accurately. However, it has now turned into Ocado’s achilles heel.

At a time leading up to M&S taking over from Waitrose to provide the bulk of Ocado’s stock, what will happen leading up to August? Will Coronavirus last that long? Will M&S be able to cope better or worse than Waitrose, who also have their own site to worry about?
